Here's what Ruby Jennings has to say about Orvis:

I have been raising Orvis since October 2019. He came to me with a bit of an attitude, but I worked with him and he has become a gentle giant. To tame him down, I brushed him every day during fall and winter and sometimes used marshmallows as a treat. I have hand fed Orvis and his buddy Lenny two times every day since I got them, no matter the weather. They eat a quality show feed milled in Garneill, MT and hay grown in our field. I walk Orvis in our arena to get him exercise and practice showmanship. He spends most of his time in an outdoor corral with Lenny. He stays in an indoor pen for hot summer days in front of a fan to stay cool. Orvis is a large framed steer with a lot of muscle. He is very well put together and will yield an abundance of quality meat that you and your family will enjoy. Garneill Show Feed and Grass Hay Feed Program.

Thank you for your interest in Orvis!
